  • October 2003, Challenges in China. Experiences from Two CCC Pilot Projects on Monitoring and Verification of Code Compliance

  • May 2002, China: Major shoe brands, labor rights groups train Chinese factory workers in bid to improve health and safety. In May 2002 the health and safety project in three footwear plants in the Pearl River Delta of China was concluded. The project involved a worker training in August and the establishment of plant-wide health and safety committees with workers as full and active participants in Taiwanese contract factories producing sports shoes for Adidas, Nike and Reebok.
