Is the Clean Clothes Campaign the only organisation campaigning to improve working conditions in the garment industry?
No, we are certainly not the only organisation that works on these issues. We ourselves works closely together with a whole variety of organisations and networks who are also working on the same or similar issues, such as
  • similar campaigns in other consumer countries - the United States (e.g. Sweatshop Watch, United Students Against Sweatshops), Canada, and Australia (e.g. NikeWatch and FairWear);
  • several NGOs in European countries that do a lot of CCC-related work and may one day establish a new national CCC campaign (such as Italy and Portugal);
  • organisations and unions in our grassroots network in Asian, African and Eastern European countries; and
  • international trade unions.

Millions of people around the world participate in these campaigns, organisations or activities. We receive questions from involved, worried and interested citizens on a daily basis.
